Q: What is the basis of the quoted fees?
A: Fees are quoted in U.S. Dollars, are per person and are based on double occupancy and include all Sandals Whitehouse resort amenities and Indie Winemakers wine event program.
Fees do not include airfare, personal charges made at the resort, optional local excursions, beverages not part of the regular menu, and all items of a personal nature including, but not limited to, laundry service and other resort services, including spa treatments and golf fees.
Q: What is included with the Indie Resorts Food and Wine Event?
A: Indie Resorts Food and Wine Event includes two programs rolled into one. You have all the privileges offered by Sandals Whitehouse, plus a private‐to‐the‐group, welcoming reception party and buffet dinner, plus 4 Chef Signature Gourmet Dinners in a private dining room accompanied by select wines from the Manager’s & Chairman’s Wine List.
Q: Can I bring bottles of wine to the resort and is there a corkage fee?
A: Guests wishing to bring wine with them may do so, with no limitations. There is no corkage fee.
Q: Is there a dress code?A: Recommended resort clothing is resort or country club casual. For evening dining, elegant casual resort‐wear is suggested. Jeans, shorts, t‐shirts or tennis shoes are not to be worn at dinner.
Q: Does the resort have room service?
A: Complimentary room service is available 24 hours a day from the room service menu for concierge level rooms and above.
Q: Does the resort have valet and laundry facilities?
A: Dry cleaning and laundry services are offered and are available at an additional fee.
Q: What special diets are available at the resort?
A: Special arrangements can be made if you require Diabetic, Gluten‐free, Lactose‐free, Kosher, Vegetarian and Vegan. Other diets must be requested for approval and, in some cases, may require additional medical documentation.
Q: What kinds of outlets do the rooms have?
A: Each room has 120 volt outlets which can be used for items such as battery chargers, hair dryers, razors and personal hygiene items.
Q: What kind of currency is used at the resort?
A: Sandals uses a cashless system based on the U.S. dollar. All purchases and services, will be billed to a room account. You will be required to register an American Express, MasterCard or Visa card during the registration process.
Q: Is wireless Internet connectivity (WI FI) available at the resort?
A: Yes, at an additional cost. There are internet connections in all rooms and wi-fi runs from the beach to the lobby, throughout the resort and in the ballrooms.
Q: What computer facilities are offered at the resort?
A: There is a business center with computer terminals and printers.
Q: How much money should I bring?
A: One of the best parts about an All-Inclusive Vacation is the fact that once you're there, you won't need to spend another penny. However, should you decide to visit some of the local attractions or take advantage of some of the outstanding bargains, you will need money. Most merchants will accept US Dollars or traveler's checks, as well as major credit cards.
Q. Are there departure taxes from the islands?
A: All departing guests are required to pay a departure tax upon leaving the airport. In some cases, the departure tax is already included on your airline ticket. Please inquire if unsure.
Q: Do you have anywhere I can keep valuables?
A: Every room is equipped with a safe deposit box. We advise all guests to store their jewelry, cash and other valuables including airline tickets and passports in this secure place. The hotel cannot be responsible for lost items.
Q: Are there medical facilities at the hotels?
A: A registered nurse with regular office hours is on the property. In the event of an emergency, a medical doctor is on call 24 hours a day.
Q. How much do I tip?A: Except for butler service, tipping is simply not permitted at the hotels.
Q: Is SCUBA diving included?
A: Yes, the resorts will provide all necessary instruction and gear to enjoy diving. If you are qualified, bring an international "C" card. If not, you will have to take the swimming test and attend class like all novice divers.
Q: Do I need travel insurance?
A: Indie Resorts strongly recommends you purchase travel insurance covering supplier default, full medical expenses, medical evacuation, travel delay, cancellation and loss. By not purchasing insurance, you assume all risk of loss associated with your trip.
Q: Do I need a Passport or Visa?
A: Yes. Passports must be valid for six months following the date of trip completion. Due to airline security measures, your passport name must match your airline ticket name or you may be denied boarding.
Q: Do I need special vaccinations?
A: Passport and Visa requirements, and regulations in regards to vaccination certificates and other health requirements vary by destination. It is the sole responsibility of each guest to obtain and have available appropriate valid travel and health documents for their chosen itinerary. Presently, no vaccinations are required for Jamaica.

A: Changes to a reservation after deposit and prior to issuance of travel documents may result in assessment of administrative fees and service charges. A: Airport transfers to and from the resort on the day of arrival and departure are included.
Q: Can I make independent air arrangements?
